DiPrete Engineering promotes DeMers

Dedham, MA DiPrete Engineering has promoted Kevin DeMers to senior project engineer. DeMers joined DiPrete Engineering in 2000 after earning a civil engineering degree from the University of Rhode Island.

As senior project engineer, DeMers is responsible for all aspects of a project’s engineering, including oversight of engineers, design implementation, and preparation for public hearings. DeMers will also continue to play a key role in the firm’s Lean initiatives, including oversight of the process maps and identifying areas of design improvement.

DeMers is currently leading the engineering designs for the Waltham Fire Station expansion, the new Millstone Medical building in Fall River, drainage improvements at a CVS in North Attleborough, and parking area improvements for a Hilton hotel in Dedham. Over the years, he has worked on many notable projects including O’Hare Academic Center at Salve Regina in Newport, the International Yacht Restoration School in Newport, The Village at South County Commons in South Kingstown, Thelma Lane Condominiums in Middletown, and Longplex Family & Sports Center in Tiverton.

DeMers is a member on the board of directors for the R.I. Chapter of the American Society of Engineering.
