DiPrete Engineering introduces new tool to navigate planning, zoning and permitting

DiPrete Engineering has created a new tool to help locate different planning, zoning, and permitting regulations in towns throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts, including Seekonk. The website provides information collected from various government websites in a simple and user friendly manner. The website's navigation includes a map of the state the user is searching within, a map of the state's counties and a map of cities and towns within those counties. For example, for a project in Seekonk, there are many different options to explore including the town's website, planning department, public works department, zoning regulations, subdivision regulations, registry of deeds, and GIS database, among others. "I can see this site being very useful for those looking for information about Seekonk," said John Hansen, town planner for Seekonk. DiPrete Engineering's original intent when creating the tool was that it be used exclusively by its own internal team. However, after realizing its value, the firm decided to make it accessible to the public. "The tool includes Seekonk's regulations as well as several important state-wide regulations," said Greg Guglielmo of DiPrete Engineering. "Instead of manually having to search across a wide variety of sites for the information, we have compiled most of the relevant agencies and governing entities into one easy to navigate website. It should be a big time saver for developers, attorneys, architects, planners and engineers who now spend quite a bit of time when searching for necessary permits and paperwork." Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
