DiPrete Engineering completes new 111-room Fairfield by Marriott for High Road Hospitality

Somerset, MA High Road Hospitality, a New England-based hotel/resort management firm, teamed with DiPrete Engineering, Bentley Builders, BETA Group, and William Anthony Excavating to design and build a new Fairfield by Marriott.

The 14-acre site at 500 Grand Army of the Republic Hwy. was originally purchased from the town and is close to RK Swansea Place, Fall River Industrial Park, an Amazon distribution center, downtown Fall River, Brayton Point Commerce Center, and several other businesses.

“Fairfield Commons is in the heart of Bristol County and is convenient to all highways and demand generators,” said Marc Landry, president of High Road Hospitality.

The new hotel includes 111 rooms and 107 parking spaces, as well as a meeting room, indoor pool, and fitness center. A Starbucks coffee shop is also located on the property.

DiPrete Engineering obtained local permitting approvals for the development and provided the project’s planning, design, surveying, and project management.

Construction of the new hotel was completed in December of 2020. High Road also recently completed another Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in South Kingstown, RI.
