DeLuca and Gillon of Signature Group negotiate 8,000 s/f lease

Signature Group has negotiated a lease for 8,000 s/f at 20 West Ave. that will become the new home of Lanphier Salon and Day Spa. Lanphier anticipates moving from its current 5,600 s/f Darien location at Goodwives Shopping Center by March 2012 after completion of construction on a salon and day spa facility. At the new location Lanphier will continue to provide its signature hair design, nail care, skin, spa and massage services. It will expand its offerings with additional hair specialty services, such as hair extensions, and new wellness and holistic services. Lanphier employs 50 people in Darien and operates a second salon and day spa in North Haven. Nick DeLuca, a Signature Group principal, represented Lanphier. Signature Group president Bob Gillon represented the building owner, Darien Station Associates. To date, the owner has updated 20 West Ave.'s street façade as part of $1 million in upgrades to the physical plant, including a new roof with skylights, new HVAC, landscaping and other interior and exterior improvements. The Lanphier build-out will add further value to the property.
