Dakota Partners closes on Stockbridge Landing in Scituate

Scituate, MA Dakota Partners secured all permits and closed on the property at 96 Stockbridge Rd. Construction on the new market rate and workforce housing development, Stockbridge Landing, commenced in spring 2020

Stockbridge Landing is comprised of 68 two-bedroom townhouse-style condominiums. Of that, 51 units will be sold at market rate and 17 will be entered into the affordable housing lottery for workforce families. The thoughtfully-designed townhouses will each have their own aesthetic appeal with seven different floorplans available to choose from. Units will also feature hardwood floors, Andersen Energy Star-rated windows, stainless steel appliances and a Heat & Glo gas fireplace with stone tile surround and a wood mantel. There will be optional finish upgrades available. Once it’s completed, Stockbridge Landing will also include a Clubhouse for all residents to use.

Stockbridge Landing is located 25 miles south of Boston. The town has five public beaches, proximity to two major highways, the MBTA commuter rail and commuter boat services. Each of the duplex apartments will be built with ThermoSeal spray foam and Owens Corning fiberglass insulation, provided to meet the Massachusetts State Energy Code for efficiency.

A real estate developer and contractor, Dakota Partners acquires and develops multifamily rental and condo communities across New England and the mid-Atlantic, a significant percentage of which are garden-style affordable housing developments. At the core of every project is Dakota’s mission to improve the lives of the people who live in the communities. By integrating high-level design, green building technologies, and quality craftsmanship, Dakota provides inviting homes that enrich both the community and its residents. Strategic partnerships with neighborhood groups and public officials ensure the success of these projects for all stakeholders in the community.
