Cuttle of The Simon Cos. appointed regional vice president of IREM

Robert Cuttle, CPM, a regional property manager with The Simon Companies based in Braintree has been appointed a regional vice president of the 19,000 plus member Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), an international community of real estate managers across all property types dedicated to ethical business practices and maximizing the value of investment real estate. He will serve a two-year term beginning immediately, providing oversight for the activities of IREM chapters in Mass., Conn., Maine, N.H., R.I, and Vermont. With more than 20 years of industry experience, Cuttle is responsible for overseeing the operations of The Simon Companies residential portfolio. He earned his Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation from IREM in 2001, and has been active in the organization ever since. He has held numerous positions with IREM's Greater Rhode Island Chapter No. 88, served as chapter president in 2009, and was honored as its "CPM of the Year" in 2010. Nationally, he was a member and then vice chair of IREM's Education Committee and served in 2010 on the IREM Job Analysis Task Force. As well, he was the recipient in 2007 of the organization's "Rising Star" award. Cuttle has been a member of the Zoning Board of Review for the town of Richmond, RI, since 2009.
