Cutolo, Keyes, Prosol and Stoddard join board of directors of CT Green Building Counsel

Hartford, CT The CT Green Building Counsel (CTGBC) has welcomed their new Board Members for 2018. Tanya Cutolo, Paul Keyes, Ilona Prosol, and Lynn Stoddard have all joined the board of directors for the 2018-2020 term. 

Cutolo, AIA of SLAM Collaborative construction division has over twenty years’ experience working in the design and construction field. She has been a business development director for construction and design build services since 2008. Having worked in the private sector as an architect for over seventeen years and in the construction field for over nine, she brings a creative vision to the field of construction management. Her professional registrations and certifications include, LEED AP, RA NY & CT, AIA & NCARB.

Keyes joined New Ecology in 2014 where he is focused on building New Ecology’s business in CT. He is responsible for business development, marketing and energy/sustainable program management. Previously, Keyes was founder and owner of Victory Energy Solutions, an energy management firm. He provided technical assistance to clients to improve the energy efficiency, comfort and performance of building envelopes and systems. He has extensive technical field knowledge of building codes, building envelope and HVAC systems as well as utility markets, private markets and governmental agencies relative to the energy conservation and renewable industry.

Prosol, an associate principal, serves as a team leader and as a project manager at BVH Integrated Services. With 26 years of experience at BVH, her portfolio includes higher education buildings, museums, hospitality projects, schools, courthouses. Focusing on sustainability, recent notable projects include UCONN’s Laurel Hall, the first LEED Gold certified project on campus and Environmental Sciences Magnet School at Mary Hooker in Hartford, Connecticut’s first LEED Platinum certified public school. Ilona holds LEED AP BD+C certification and Professional Engineering licenses in CT and Mass.

Stoddard serves on the Governor’s Council on Climate Change and is an inaugural fellow in the Donella Meadows Leadership Fellows Program. Stoddard has over twenty years of experience in developing public policy and managing a broad range of energy and environmental programs. 

She worked in the following programs at the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection: climate change and energy, recycling and solid waste planning, pollution prevention, and coastal area management. Lynn is the Director of the Institute for Sustainable Energy at Eastern Connecticut State University. 

A 15 member Board of Directors is elected by the members governs the CTGBC. Our Board is comprised of a diverse background that include State of Connecticut officials, private industry executives, leading A&E professionals, and concerned citizens interested in promoting high performance green buildings.
