The completion of the new athletic fields, located on the site of the former West Bridgewater High School, marks the final phase of the $49.6 million school construction project.

“This dedication marks a major milestone for the town of Bridgewater after nearly three years of work to build this state-of-the-art school and athletic fields,” said Jeffrey Hazelwood, project executive at CTA. “CTA was pleased to work closely with our partners in West Bridgewater on this major school building project that will serve students, faculty and families in the community for decades to come.”

In 2013, CTA began construction of a new middle and senior high school on the previously existing West Bridgewater school site. The new school was completed last year, enabling construction to begin on the athletic fields. The space, 20 acres, includes a new combination football, soccer and field hockey field with a 6-lane running track, and a new baseball field. Other site improvements include new roadways, parking, walkways, landscaping, and site utilities.

CTA is one of the most experienced school builders in Massachusetts, completing more than 35 school construction projects in the Commonwealth since the company was founded in 2000.
