Portland, ME Global commercial real estate services firm Colliers International Group Inc. is planning to enter the Portland market. Colliers International is among the largest full-service commercial advisory and brokerage firms. In addition to its offices in Manchester and Portsmouth, the new Portland, Maine, office will provide Colliers with its third full-service commercial real estate office in Northern New England.

“We are excited to enter the vibrant greater Portland community. This area has seen significant growth over the past decade and we are looking forward to delivering best-in-class services to the state of Maine,” said Robert Rohrer, managing director of Colliers in New Hampshire.

As a leader in global real estate services, Colliers prides itself on its spirit of enterprise. Through a culture of service excellence and a shared sense of initiative, Colliers specialists collaborate and integrate their resources to accelerate the success of their partners – their clients, professionals, and communities.

From the new Maine office, with Mike Cobb as managing director, Colliers will be able to deliver comprehensive and integrated commercial real estate services that will benefit clients with an enhanced service platform and added resources. Cobb has been in real estate for over ten years and is second generation to this industry, giving him an innate understanding of where to find and create value.

Colliers services will include all aspects of sale and leasing brokerage, development and consulting knowledge, financial services, property management, and advisory expertise, thus providing a complete lineup of commercial real estate services to owners, buyers, landlords, tenants, and investors.

“Maine is clearly on the map and offers some of the greatest opportunities in New England. More and more businesses and investors have their eyes on Maine or have already made the jump into this market. With so much room to grow and such a wonderful quality of life, it was only a matter of time,” said Cobb. “I greatly look forward to taking our local knowledge and savvy and blending it with Colliers’ wide array of resources. With more and more investors from outside the state looking at Maine, it couldn’t be a better time to align with a well respected and highly capable firm such as Colliers.”
