Colliers International arranges 5,033 s/f lease at 40 Signal Road for Dorel Juvenile Group: Gopan represents the landlord

Colliers International Connecticut has arranged a 5,033 s/f lease for Dorel Juvenile Group at 40 Signal Rd. in Cummings Park, to accommodate its growth, which its marketing department occupied in April. Dorel Juvenile Group is made up of children's products brands including Safety 1st, Cosco Juvenile, Quinny, Maxi-Cosi and Hoppop. The company is a division of Montreal-based Dorel Industries, one of the world's largest juvenile products designers and manufacturers. "Stamford is a gateway to the New York City metropolitan area for New England. 40 Signal Rd. is a high quality building equidistant between Dorel's northeast regional offices and New York City retailers," said Josh Gopan, a managing director with Colliers International Connecticut, who represented the landlord in the transaction. "Dorel was also seeking a location where they could provide a private, pleasant and creative working environment, so these offices suit them perfectly." Gopan further noted that in addition to having stable ownership, the 14,000 s/f office building provides unique amenities, such as boat slips and access to 2.5 acres of ocean-front property, including a private beach and beautiful views of Long Island Sound. Additionally, 40 Signal Rd. has easy access to I-95 and neighboring town, Greenwich. Miltco is the landlord.
