Coastal Partners completes 119,000 s/f BJ's wholesale club

Coastal Partners has completed development of the 119,000 s/f, free standing BJ's Wholesale Club, with gasoline facility, at the Ward Hill Office Park. The BJ's had a successful grand opening August 3rd which included state and local officials and BJ's senior management and staff to celebrate. BJ's new property is located on a fourteen acre parcel immediately off Rte. 495 at the intersection of the Rte. 125 connector and Shelley Rd. The development plan included raising an existing 175,000 s/f industrial building, install a new drainage system, upgrade the wetlands, and erect a new 119,000 s/f prototypical BJ's with their signature New England facade with retail gas and propane facility. In addition to the BJ's Development Coastal Partners worked with Mass. Hwy. to widen Shelley Rd. to accommodate designated access and turning lanes and installed new signal mast arms throughout the Rte. 125 / Shelley Rd. intersection. BJ's Haverhill development team includes; RJ O'Connell providing civil engineering; Cubellis Associates architectural/mechanical/structural; Vanasse Associates traffic; Masterson Construction site contractors and Metric Construction with construction lending by KeyBank National.
