CBRE | The Boulos Co. sells 26,472 s/f on Kennedy Memorial Drive

William Mitchell, dba 295 KMD LLC, has made the investment purchase of an 8.75 AC site which is improved with two buildings consisting of 26,472 s/f on Kennedy Memorial Dr. Tony McDonald SIOR and Chris Paszyc, CCIM, both of CBRE | The Boulos Company, represented the seller, R-W Corp. Gregg Perkins of Affiliated Realty represented the buyer. KMD LLC plans to develop the property into a strip mall with an anchor tenant, Goodwill Industries of Northern New England, already procured. Renovations are underway and will be completed in the spring. The renovations will create eight units in total to be leased as light retail and office space. Once fully occupied, it is estimated that 40-60 jobs will be created in Waterville's local economy. Tyler Hobbs and Craig Young, CCIM, also both of CBRE | The Boulos Company, represented the tenant, Goodwill, and McDonald and Paszyc, represented the landlord in the lease of 5,740 s/f upper level office space. Goodwill has committed to providing a community support program for individuals with cognitive disabilities called LifeWorks, an expansion of a program based in Augusta, within the Waterville community.
