CAI-NE names First Realty Management Corp. of Boston its 2019 Management Company of the Year

Boston, MA When the Community Association Institute – New England (CAI-NE) named First Realty Management its Management Company of the Year at its recent annual Awards Gala, it marked the second time in the last six months that the honor had been bestowed upon the 66-year-old Boston-based company.

Last October, the Boston Metropolitan Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) named First Realty as its Accredited Management Organization of the Year. The two awards marked a rare occurrence in which the same management firm was selected in the same year for the region’s top honor by the two leading professional associations to serve real estate professionals and the property management industry in the Greater Boston area.

First Realty has been an active member in CAI-NE since 1981, which marks the time in which the company began to provide management services to condominium associations. First Realty provides management services to more than 30 condominium associations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island that have a combined total of nearly 3,400 residential units in addition to an assortment of amenities. The portfolio includes communities that range from high rises to townhouses, luxury oceanfront communities to properties managed for community development corporations. The company has a history of success in managing condominium communities at all stages of the property life cycle from those under development to those that are well-established. Headquartered in Boston, First Realty also has offices in Worcester and Providence.

First Realty adheres to the corporate vision “We Create Quality Communities Together” through a commitment to provide service before it’s requested, to provide the best economic return for owners, and to provide employees opportunities for personal and professional growth. First Realty also ascribes to the highest standards within the real estate management profession.

First Realty is an Accredited Management Organization (AMO) through IREM, the country’s leading training and credentialing association for real estate professionals. The AMO designation is the highest accreditation that a property management company can achieve. Only a small number of management firms in New England and less than 5% of 40,000 management firms nationwide have achieved this accreditation. The company first achieved certification as an Accredited Management Organization in 1982.
