Brothers and Schmid of Nitsch Engineering to present at ABX2014

With more than 175 workshops and tours, the ArchitectureBoston Expo (ABX2014) looks to be an informative and exciting time again this year. Nitsch Engineering is proud to participate by presenting on two very different panels: On October 28, from 1-2:30 p.m., executive project manager John Schmid, PE, LEED AP BD+C, will team up with Richard Galvin of CV Properties, Richard Martini of The Fallon Company, and Charles Reid, RA, of Boston Global Investors, to present The Changing Face of the Seaport. Together, they will talk about the transformation of South Boston's Seaport District over the past 15 years, what to expect over the next decade, and their vision for the Seaport once construction is complete On October 29, from 10-11:30 a.m., president and CEO Lisa Brothers, PE, LEED AP BD+C, will present Designing Profitability in collaboration with Katy Flammia, AIA, of NBBJ; Lisa Hynes, Assoc. AIA, of Goody Clancy; Shelley Simon, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, of Beardsley Design Associates; and Winnie Stopps, AIA, LEED AP, of Leers Weinzapfel Associates. The panel will discuss the operational decisions that promote the fiscal stability and professional longevity of a design practice.
