On Thursday, December 10th from 10:00 – 11:15 a.m. BOMA Boston is holding their final webinar of the year: High Performing Teams featuring Stevie Blakely. Are you looking for ways to engage as a team? Are you tired of dealing with misunderstandings and drama in the workplace? Looking to inspire and motivate each other?  It all starts with understanding that teams are made up of individuals and by understanding the individuals on your team, you can empower them to achieve greater success. Blakely will dive into strategies to improve productivity, techniques for effective and engaging meetings and best practices for creating a collaborative environment. We hope you can join us!

BOMA Boston is pleased to present the Larry Lenrow CRE Education Scholarship to support entry-level commercial real estate professionals looking to enhance their commercial real estate careers. Larry passed away in June, and he will be forever missed by the BOMA Boston community. This scholarship serves to honor his legacy as a dedicated real estate executive. Five scholarships are awarded annually and this year’s recipients were announced at the TOBY & Industry Awards in November.

BOMA’s partnership with BOMI International remains strong. Through educational offerings, BOMA members and non-members learn from senior professionals in the commercial real estate industry to work towards earning their RPA or FMA designations, or PAC or PMFP certifications online. The 2021 BOMI Course calendar will be available later this month.

The commercial real estate industry has a professional certification that provides early recognition for foundational knowledge and guides the next generation of property managers toward greater responsibility and success in their careers: The Certified Manager of Commercial Properties (CMCP). The CMCP is the only certification of its kind for early career commercial property managers – you may qualify with as little as one year’s experience.
