BOMA Boston Update: BOMA Golf, & BOMI Classes

Boston, MA The Annual BOMA Golf Tournament was held on Monday, July 10th at Pinehills Golf Club. Around 300 BOMA members and guests took over both the Jones and Nicklaus courses for a round of 18. The day included a Hole in One from Chris Dlugolecki with IMG Technologies and the gracious donation of the 50/50 winnings to our charitable partner by winner, Steven Gilmore Jr., with ServiceMaster by Gilmore. The tournament was a success thanks to our sponsors, in particular our platinum sponsor, C&W Services!

At the July BOMA Boston board meeting, the BOMA board members and committee co-chairs took part in a fun volunteer opportunity with Building Impact in support of Bridge Over Troubled Waters. Members put together hydration kits and wrote uplifting notes to the youth at Bridge. It was a great way to give back to our charitable partner!

On July 26th, the BOMA Membership Committee held its second BOMA in the Burbs Networking Nite. The event was held at AKB Burlington at Archers Hotel. The sold out event hosted 70 current and prospective BOMA Boston members. Thank you to our sponsor, ATI Restoration!

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
