BOMA Boston update: Ski trip, BOMA Benefit, educational offerings and 2023 save the dates

Boston, MA On Friday, February 17th BOMA Boston hosted the Annual Ski Trip at Loon Mountain! Members and guests enjoyed a day on the slopes with an all-day ski lift ticket, followed by an après ski reception. This sold-out event is always a favorite for our members. 

BOMA is hosting the annual BOMA Benefit, a night to support charitable partner, Bridge Over Troubled Waters, on Thursday March 16th. The event is being held from 5:30 -8:30 p.m. at the UMass Club (1 Beacon). Sponsorships and individual tickets are available. We are looking forward to a great night to support such a great cause. 

BOMI: Ethics is Good Business was offered on March 1st and was taught by Mark Giampa of Related Beal. The course teaches an awareness of how ethics influences your business success, the ability to better identify potential ethical issues, thereby avoiding them, guidelines to use when identifying various value systems, and when articulating your own, and skills in recognizing the progression of events that can lead to ethical misbehavior.

BOMA Foundations of Real Estate Management will begin on March 3rd and will take place for five consecutive Fridays in March from 9:00am – 3:00pm, until March 31st. For more information contact Heather Thifault, hthifault@gbreb.com. 

BOMI: Design, Operations & Maintenance of Building Systems, Part 1 is starting up on March 14th. It will be held virtually starting the 14th and continuing on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s, March 16, 21, 23, 28, 30, April 4, 6, 11, 13. This course provides information property and facility managers need to manage the ongoing operation and maintenance of building systems and to maximize building efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Please save the dates for some of BOMA’s signature events including BOMA Springfest on May 18th, Annual Fishing Tournament on Friday, June 16th, Annual Golf Tournament on Monday, July 10th and the TOBY & Industry Awards on Thursday, November 16th at the Westin Copley Place.
