BOMA Boston Update – Annual Golf Tournament and the return of in-person Roundtables July 20th

Congratulations for CBRE for the largest fish caught at the
2021 BOMA Fishing Tournament at 46”, 35 lbs and the most fish caught (40 fish)!

BOMA Boston’s annual Golf Tournament will be taking place this year on Monday, July 12thatPinehills Golf Club in Plymouth, MA! We are looking forward to what promises to be an exciting(sold out) day with a golf tournament, putting contest, lunch,barbecue reception and awards presentation to conclude the day with 300 BOMA Boston members!

On Tuesday, July 20th, BOMA Boston is holding our first in-person roundtable of the year including a panel discussion led by our 2021 BOMA Boston president, Seth Skolnick, Oxford Properties, on the re-opening of Boston and returning to the office. Some other panelists include Shawn Carroll, CBRE, Erika Clarke, National Development, Jon Mareno, Bulfinch Companies and more to be announced! Over 120 BOMA Members and guests gathered last month for the sold out BOMA Boston FishingTournament on Friday, June 11th! It was a great day on the water casting on professional fishing boats with local captains out of Liberty Wharf! CBRE won the cleat box for the most caught fish – 40 fish! The tournament was followed by a networking and awards luncheon at Legal Harborside in the Seaport. See more photos from the day on BOMA’s website.

BOMA International 2021 is coming to Boston from October 6 - 9 at the BCEC! BOMA Boston has waited 25 years for this and are thrilled that the BOMA International Conference will be held in Boston this year! Along with BOMA International, the BOMA Boston Host Committee has been busy planning and we will have some fun things to share in the coming weeks! We will be looking for local volunteers to help out at the convention center during the conference! For now, you should save the date and register! We are pleased to share that our Charitable Partner Bridge Over Troubled Waters will be the Conferences Charitable Partner here in Boston!

BOMA’s partnership with BOMI International remains strong. Through educational offerings,BOMA members and non-members learn from senior professionals in the commercial real estate industry to work towards earning their RPA or FMA designations, or PAC or PMFP certifications. The next course, BOMI Real Estate Investment & Finance will take place Wednesday and FridaymorningsofJuly14th,16th, 21st, 23rd, 28th, 30th, and August 4th, 6th, 11th, and 13th from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. This virtual course will be taught by Mark Giampa with Related Beal.
