The Boston law firm Bernkopf Goodman LLP represented Massachusetts-based Claremont Co. Inc. in its $21.65 million acquisition of Fort Lauderdale's Il Lugano Hotel & Residences.

"Due to the development structure, different departments in the firm assisted, including creditors' rights due to a previous bankruptcy by the seller, licensing and permitting together with normal and customary title and contract issues."
