Boston, MA For many subcontractors, marketing efforts fall by the wayside in the midst of busy project schedules and austere budgets. But knowing the importance of marketing to long-term success, ASM recently held a seminar that provided attendees with 10 foolproof marketing tips that subcontractors can quickly implement, even on a limited budget.

The panelists included two subcontractors (Tom Palange of J.C. Cannistraro and Kate Waldron of Lan-Tel Communications), a general contractor (Amy Fahey of Colantonio, Inc.), and a marketing/PR firm with extensive experience in the AEC industry (Lori Coletti of Big Bark Solutions). In addition to discussing modern trends in marketing, the panel discussed the importance of online tools; having a plan that aligns with your resources; ways to demonstrate expertise; how branding should be part of an overall business strategy, and much more.
