ARCO National Construction partners with Calare Properties to complete 124,800 s/f distribution facility

Saco, ME ARCO National Construction is partnering with repeat developer client Calare Properties to build a 124,800 s/f distribution facility. The build-to-suit development will be home to a Fortune 500 company end-user. The facility offers access to major distribution routes and is located one mile from I-195. Construction is expected to finish in Q3 2023.

“As end-users in growing industries look to expand their distribution networks, ARCO continues to see strong demand for industrial space across New England with an increasing number of developments being build-to-suit like the facility we are partnering with Calare Properties on in Saco,” said Jason Grant, principal at ARCO National Construction. “We are proud to be part of this project and look forward to completing another best-in-class facility with Calare Properties that is right for their client’s business.”

The facility will feature 32’ clear height, 25 dock positions, tilt-up construction, an 8,500 s/f office, and a 3,500 s/f interior fleet service garage.

“Our Calare team values the opportunity to partner with ARCO and develop this space for a long-established company,” said Albert Manley, vice president of acquisitions at Calare. We look forward to delivering a custom-built space that boosts our tenant’s ability to meet the demands of their business today.”

ARCO National Construction and Calare Properties have partnered on two additional projects including a 119,000 s/f warehouse recently completed in Acton, Mass. and a 219,000 s/f distribution facility currently under construction in Bridgewater, Mass.
