ARC appoints new firm president and two principals

Boston, MA Architecture and interior design firm ARC appointed a new president Jan Taylor and two new principals, Victor Agran and Leslie DelleFave.

“These appointments arrive during an exciting and opportune time for our firm,” said ARC principal and past president Philip Laird, FAIA. “Jan, Leslie, and Victor have worked together for years, and their contributions to our growth and ARC’s long-term success is immeasurable. Their promotions highlight the strength of our leadership and design talent.”

Taylor, AIA joined ARC in 2000 and leads the planning and design for many of the firm’s award-winning university and independent school projects. Within ARC, she is an insightful strategist and a natural leader, inspiring team members with her empathetic approach and strategic outlook. Taylor’s leadership extends to her clients, where she guides complex planning and design initiatives for institutions including Brown University, Greenwich Country Day School, and Harvard University. She is a LEED-Accredited Professional (LEED AP) and co-chairs the Women’s Principals Group for the Boston Society of Architects. Taylor earned a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Texas Austin and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Oberlin College.

Leslie DelleFave, AIA joined ARC in 2010 and is an exceptional project leader, mentor, and team collaborator. She is sought-after for her ability to manage the most complex client assignments for corporate and institutional clients. DelleFAve’s accomplishments reflect her ability to bring the aspirational ideas of clients to life, including her recent work with Leggat McCall Properties and DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners at the Boynton Yards Development in Somerville, MA, and for award-winning LEED Gold and LEED Platinum projects at Boston College and Middlebury College. DelleFave earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology. She is an NCARB-certified and LEED-Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

Victor Agran, AIA joined ARC in 2015. He takes pride in helping clients translate their ambitions into spaces designed to foster well-being and community. Working across the full spectrum of project types, Agran is an advocate for regenerative design and environmental stewardship, evidenced by his recent projects including his collaboration with DelleFave on the Boynton Yards 808 Windsor project - an 11-story lab/research building targeting LEED Platinum certification. Additional work includes the LEED Platinum Bentley University Arena, the AIA NH Award-winning Rowing Facility at Dartmouth College, and the LEED Gold, award-winning Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco (prior to joining ARC). Agran earned a Master of Architecture degree from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a Lecturer at the Yale School of Architecture.

“It is an honor to lead this group of remarkably talented people in an environment where every voice is a source of inspiration,” said Taylor. “I look forward to seeing what we can accomplish together with our incredible clients and exceptional industry partners in ARC’s next chapter.”
