Angel of Angel Commercial sells 26,635 s/f at 1187 E. Main Street for $1.2 million
Jon Angel, president Angel Commercial LLC, a Southport based commercial real estate brokerage firm, completed the sale of 26,635 s/f retail and commercial property located at 1187 E Main St. to J & J Meriden LLC for $1.2 million.
J.D. Byrider Used Cars dealership, will open their second Connecticut location at the former Colony Ford site. The property has undergone extensive renovations and will offer used car sales and 11 service bays. Jeff Merriam, franchisee, stated that he is excited to join the Meriden community.
This Meriden location marks a total of four new J.D. Byrider dealerships in 2015. The company now has 168 locations in 33 states.
"The property is ideal for the Byrider dealership having an existing showroom and service bays. It is exciting to be a part of new growth in Meriden's economy," said Angel who represented the seller in this transaction.
