West Hartford, CT Amenta Emma Architects received the Honor Award in the Under 50 Employees category of this year’s AIA CT Business Architecture Awards for The Burgess Group.

The Business Architecture Awards honor architects for solving business problems for Connecticut clients, thereby demonstrating the power of architecture to shape business performance, to improve people’s’ lives and provide a value added service to clients in a business setting that far exceeds the costs of that service.

The Burgess Group, headquartered in Alexandria Virginia, selected Amenta Emma to design its new 7,000 s/f office at Blue Back Square. The company specializes in the development of Healthcare reimbursement software. Their project goal was for a Workplace that was beautiful, open, social and conducive to creative thinking.
