Amadei of R.W. Holmes negotiates two leases totaling 75,055 s/f on behalf of Hillside Associates, the landlord for Waltham Research Park

Waltham, MA R.W. Holmes has negotiated two leases totaling 75,055 s/f of space at Waltham Research Park.

Snapdragon Chemistry, a leader in process development and manufacturing solutions in the pharmaceutical industry, leased 51,755 s/f. Arthur Amadei, senior vice president at R.W. Holmes, represented the landlord, Hillside Associates.

The space will be Snapdragon Chemistry’s newest facility and opened for GMP manufacturing and process development in May. The facility greatly expands Snapdragon’s capacity for supplying clinical intermediates and drug substances.

In the second lease transaction, Boston Dynamics, which specializes in creating robots with advanced mobility, dexterity, and intelligence, leased 23,300 s/f. Amadei represented Hillside Associates in this transaction as well. CBRE and Colliers represented Boston Dynamics.

Located at 360 2nd Ave. on I-95, Waltham Research Park is a 214,356 s/f office and lab facility with the ability to add an additional 58,000 s/f.

“Waltham Research Park is a great facility and a superb location in the dynamic Central 128 submarket,” said Amadei. “The facility met all the needs of Snapdragon Chemistry and Boston Dynamics.”

Amadei is the exclusive leasing agent for Hillside Associates, the landlord for Waltham Research Park.
