Advisors Living opens new sales office at 5 East Main St. in Merrimac Square

Merrimac, MA Advisors Living, the residential sales platform of Boston Realty Advisors, opened its newest sales office. The new office is located to serve Greater Newburyport, the Merrimack Valley and areas of southern New Hampshire.

This new office, one of the latest in a series of Advisors Living offices opening in suburbs of Greater Boston, is located at 5 East Main St. in Merrimac Square, the commercial, cultural and historical center of the town.

Joined by dozens of Advisors from Advisors Living from other Greater Boston offices, as well as friends and associates, the recently opened Merrimac office celebrated in late afternoon under tents, with music by the talented singer-guitarist-songwriter Henry McIntyre, before the red ribbon was scissored by Jason Weissman, founder and senior partner of Boston Realty Advisors.

Twelve agents have joined the new office in Merrimac, and several more are expected in the coming months, totaling 20 or more.

“I managed in the Haverhill and Newburyport area for over eight years and am excited to be back,” said Jeff Smith, managing broker of Advisors Living. “Looking forward to continued growth in the North Shore and working in my hometown of Merrimac.”

“We are beyond excited to extend our service area,” said Merit McIntyre, chief executive officer of Advisors Living, said when the office opened its doors last fall.

“Our Merrimac office is a perfect location for agents selling homes along the Massachusetts and New Hampshire border, including the coastal community of Newburyport, the adjacent towns of Amesbury, Salisbury, and West Newbury, and the vibrant city of Haverhill,” said McIntyre. “A number of our Advisors also work in Southern New Hampshire towns, from the Pelham-Salem area to the Seacoast.”

“As the real estate market shifts, successful sales agents are looking to partner with a company that can assist them in delivering exceptional results for their clients,” McIntyre said.

Advisors Living added more than 114 professional agents to its team last year, bringing the Advisors Living number of advisors to 194 at the end of 2022. More have joined Advisors Living since. The new sales professionals are based in an expanding number of offices throughout the region and add talent and experience to a company increasingly represented in downtown Boston, neighborhoods, and suburbs.

Last month, Advisors Living held its formal grand opening for the new sales office in Cape Elizabeth, Maine, to serve residential buyers and sellers in Southern Maine, including the Greater Portland region from York along the coast north to midcoast Maine and inland to the eastern White Mountains.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
