Advanced Property Management awarded Mass. Workforce Training Fund Program grant

Boston, MA Advanced Property Management (APM) has been awarded a Workforce Training Fund Program (WTFP) grant from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts to provide employee training and help to address the current worker shortage. WTFP is a program of the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD) and is administered by Commonwealth Corp., a quasi-public state agency that fosters partnerships among industry, education, and workforce organizations. APM provides a full range of property management services for its residents.

The Workforce Training Fund helps companies improve productivity and competitiveness by providing resources to invest in the Massachusetts workforce.

In partnership with the EOLWD, Commonwealth Corp. reviews and awards training grants to businesses to fund training for current and newly hired employees. During the past decade, WTFP has awarded more than $146 million to train more than 113,000 workers across Massachusetts.

“We are excited about the opportunity to provide training in critical skills that will help expand future career advancement for our workers,” said APM CEO Oleg Uritsky. “This grant helps our company increase productivity while addressing a glaring problem in our industry and across the business spectrum. Our industry needs more highly trained workers, and this program allows us to provide the best training possible for our employees. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of the solution to the worker shortage.”

“The WTFP grant will help us be more competitive and improve employee retention by providing professional skill building opportunities for workers,” said APM hiring manager Linda Melchione. “We are committed to providing positive learning opportunities for our employees and are thrilled to provide access to training that can be life-changing for people’s career prospects while replenishing the overall workforce.”
