Acuña named director of project management at Avison Young Boston

According to Michael Smith, Avison Young principal and managing director, former senior project manager Isabel Acuña has been named director of project management in Avison Young's Boston office. Acuña joined Avison Young in 2012 with 19 years of industry experience, having worked with companies including The Walsh Company and Barr & Barr Inc., as senior project manager and project manager, respectively. "As the director of project management at a fast-growing and collaborative company such as Avison Young, I am excited to work on key projects for leading international companies and sophisticated landlords," said Acuña. "I am pleased to take on a larger role at Avison Young and look forward to further contributing to the success of the company." Acuña received her bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from the Tecnológico de Monterrey in Monterrey, Mexico. Following her studies in Mexico, she obtained her master's degree in civil engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She received her LEED AP D+C (accredited professional in green building design and construction) in 2009.
