Aberthaw Const. celebrates ribbon cutting of enVision Hotel Boston

Everett, MA Aberthaw Construction Co. celebrated the ribbon cutting and grand opening of the enVision Hotel Boston-Everett a Choice Hotels Ascend Collection Brand. The event drew state and local dignitaries, including the guest of honor mayor Carlo DeMaria.

The building went up in 1922 to house a shoe factory. It was later converted into a sewing factory; and, finally, it became retail space prior to its redevelopment.

Just one year ago, Aberthaw Construction kicked off the renovation of the design-forward boutique hotel, featuring all the modern essentials.

This unique four-story, 54,000 s/f, 101-room vintage-inspired hotel is a stunning transformation. Design details hark back to the building and the neighborhoods past. The lobby displays a desk made of restored vintage steamer trunks, antique sewing machines and a giant scrabble board for guests to enjoy a signature element found at all the enVision properties. The hotel also features a meeting room and a café called Against the Grain Bistro.
