A warm welcome for the 2015 IREM leadership team

It is hard to believe that December is already upon us and we are well into the holiday season. I have enjoyed serving you as your 2014 IREM Boston Chapter president. We have had a year full of exciting events, venues and educational offerings as well as some of the best net working experiences we have offered to date. We also had a very active and successful Legislative agenda. Now it is time to pass the torch of leadership to the 2015 IREM Chapter Administration. I am excited about the future of IREM and my continued role as past president. Colleen Costa will step into the role as president. Colleen has been involved with IREM for many years and will serve with an excellent group of officers and executive councilors. The new administration is dedicated to continue offering the highest quality real estate management education, ethics and net working that has made IREM a hallmark in the real estate industry. Colleen will add her own flavor to the agenda and will be publishing monthly articles to keep the members informed about ongoing events. We will begin the year once again with our past presidents recognition and economic forecast breakfast, held at Granite Links Golf Club on January 14. At this event we recognize the great individuals who have served as IREM Boston's presidents as we review the current economic trends of the real estate industry. Nationally acclaimed economist Elliot Eisenberg, Ph.D. will be the key note speaker at this event. Don't miss this opportunity net work and learn about the economy and how it impacts the real estate industry. As you can see by the schedule for January and February on this page, we also embark on an aggressive schedule full of world class education offerings. Please join me in a warm welcome for the 2015 IREM leadership team. David Barrett is president at RCM Services and Clifton Management Co., and the 2014 president of IREM Boston.
