What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry?
I would not be where I am today if it weren’t for the mentors I have had along the way. They have provided me with the tools and confidence I needed to be successful in my career. I believe that everyone can benefit from a mentor-mentee relationship, especially women in male-dominated fields. Hopefully, I can pass on the invaluable advice I’ve received from other engineers.

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
