2022 Year in Review: Joe Freeman, Manzo Freeman Development

Joe Freeman

Manzo Freeman Development

What emerging trends will drive investment and development in 2023?
Businesses are exiting Greater Boston for our properties because they are built to last and priced right. Our business model includes buying historical mill properties at a low cost per s/f before investing significant dollars to modernize the buildings and attract a wide variety of tenants including lab, office, manufacturing, retail, etc. It is critical to our success to establish a supportive public/private relationship with local governments. Lawrence mayor Brian DePena, Nashua mayor Jim Donchess, and their teams have helped streamline the permitting process. We are currently pursuing large-scale mill properties between 200,000 - 600,000 s/f in Chelmsford, Methuen, and Holyoke, Mass.
