“David has successfully overseen numerous major retail remodels while keeping stores operational, consistently finishing on time and on budget. His exceptional organization, efficiency, attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and unwavering dedication make him an outstanding leader and a rising star in our company.” - Dwight Groom, Principal at Groom Construction, Co., Inc.

In the last 12 months what accomplishment are you most proud of? In the past 12 months, my biggest accomplishment was overseeing two six-month Super Target remodels while keeping both stores open, finishing on time and on budget. I was fortunate to have an incredibly helpful assistant project manager (Nicole Covolos), four keen site supervisors (Bob Perault, Jay Smith, Michael Cella, Connor Healy), and a remarkable fixture project manager (Sam Barrett). It was a team effort, achieved with everyone’s help.

Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success? A major factor in my achievements as a project manager is my father, who was a successful draftsman, project manager, and estimator, working nearly 40 years for a competitor of ours.

I was incredibly lucky growing up with parents like my mother and father, always supporting me with whatever endeavor I was dealing with. Additionally, my loving wife has always understood the late-night calls, long hours, and supported me daily. Their unwavering support has been crucial in my success.

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
