What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? I’m most proud of our work at The Landing at Everett Mills located at 15 Union St. in Lawrence, Mass. We are investing significant capital to create a transformational mixed-use campus at the heart of downtown, supporting economic development and invigorating the community. Since we acquired the Landing in 2019, we have leased about 300,000 s/f of commercial space ranging from Fortune 500 company Nexamp, Inc. to local businesses. I am leading the efforts on multiple capital projects to improve the property including parking lot development, restaurant expansions, and wayfinding. We feel fortunate to be a part of the Lawrence community.

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?
“Shannon’s skills, knowledge, work ethic and ability to build trusted relationships has made her a very valuable asset to the team at MFD. She wears multiple hats as a property manager and leasing representative and is currently building a team underneath her as her role grows with our portfolio.” - Alexandra Freeman, Managing Partner at Manzo Freeman Development
