2020 Year in Review: Brian Mattiucci, Vantage Builders, Inc.

Brian Mattiucci
Director of Business Development
Vantage Builders, Inc.

What was the most difficult part of working during the pandemic of 2020? What has really hit me is the pandemic’s impact on our ability to collaborate. Collaboration is critically important in our industry. It’s been difficult not to be able to meet in person, whether it’s an internal Vantage team meeting, an onsite meeting at a client site with the members of the project team, or networking at a tradeshow or industry event. Zoom and Microsoft Teams have helped but they don’t fully replace the personal engagement you get from in-person interactions.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2020? At the beginning of December, Vantage celebrated its 20th anniversary in business. That’s 20 years of helping hundreds of clients succeed in their industries. It is a terrific milestone and we are honored to share it with all the clients, current and former Vantage team members, subcontractors, architects, engineers and everyone else who has been with us along the way. We’re looking forward to the next 20 years!
