What honor, achievement or recognition means the most to you and why? I am proud to have been promoted in 2018 to be president and COO of Senior Housing Properties Trust, an $8.7 billion healthcare REIT. I consider my role to be important symbolically – according to a 2018 report from The Boston Club, only seven of the top 100 public companies in Massachusetts have women in the senior executive role. Clearly, while women have made progress attaining senior leadership roles, there is still significant work to be done.
