What was your first position/job in the A/E/C Industry? In distribution in customer service and operations management and then mergers and acquisitions.

Why the A/E/C Industry? This industry is dynamic and touches many different facets of the business world, the community and the working network. The opportunities were apparent to me early on. The ability to be able to experience and grow from one sector to another in this industry all while building your portfolio and further expanding on your knowledge is priceless.

Advice / Keys to Success: Learn as much as you can about each sector of the industry, and then take that information and see how it applies to you and to the world in a broader context. One piece lends to another, and then another. Before long, you see this mapped out world of opportunities, possibilities and never-ending learning, growth and technology. It is truly amazing.

If you had to choose one word to explain why you do what you do, which one most suits you and why? Opportunity. On a daily basis I am given the chance to come up with new ideas, to innovate, and to support and challenge our employees to serve our customers and build a better company.
