12th Annual REFA Golf Tournament held June 20th

Great weather, terrific golf and super networking led to a very successful REFA Golf Outing. The Annual REFA Golf outing took place on Monday, June 20th at the Country Club of Woodbridge and like past years, everyone who participated enjoyed the day. Extra special thanks go to SL Green and People's United Bank for their generous support in being the tournament sponsors once again. Like the last many years, proceeds have been donated to worthwhile causes and this year is no different. Habitat for Humanity seeks to build community and improve lives by partnering with low income families and community volunteers to build simple, decent, affordable, safe and efficient homes. Habitat welcomes people, regardless of faith, to build with them in partnership.The ultimate goal is to eliminate substandard housing in lower Fairfield County and Hartford County. Summer Socials Scheduled for both Chapters Both Chapters have their Summer Socials scheduled in July. Fairfield/Westchester will host their annual summer social on July 14th at the new restaurant, Bar Rosso in Stamford. This event is being sponsored by Seaboard Properties. The Hartford Chapter will host their annual summer social on July 28th at East Side Restaurant on Dwight St. in New Britain. This event will be jointly sponsored by REFA and CREW. Annual Gala - Save the Date One of REFA's trademark events - the Annual Gala will take place on Thursday, September 22nd. This event keeps getting better and our attendance keeps growing.
