Woods named managing director, project and development services of Cassidy Turley's newly formed project management group in Boston
According to Cassidy Turley, Al Woods has joined the firm as the managing director, project and development services of the Boston office's newly formed project management group. As managing director, Woods will be responsible for leading this new team and growing the firm's project and development service capability in the city. He will work closely with the brokerage group to deliver project and development services to their clients.
"Al's combination of more than 27 years of construction and commercial real estate experience makes him well-qualified to fill this new role on the Cassidy Turley team," said Joe Fallon, managing principal at Cassidy Turley. "His project management expertise in the Boston market will prove a valuable asset to our organization."
The new project management group will be responsible for helping Cassidy Turley's clients with the strategic planning involved in managing their real estate assets. This includes developing financial goals, helping them understand their reporting needs, and working with them through each step of their decision-making process. By building effective relationships with their clients, the Cassidy Turley team will deliver on measurable objectives in areas such as tenant retention, and lease compliance and administration.
Before joining the project management group, Woods previously spent 17 years as managing director at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he worked on growing and integrating construction services for the company the company with national accounts including Merck, HSBC, Xerox, Wells Fargo, Deutsche Bank and United Healthcare. He also managed the Boston market's Project and Development Services (PDS) team, which was responsible for executing projects for corporate and institutional clients including Microsoft, Citigroup, and Eaton Vance.

Woods received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Emmanuel College and a certificate in building construction technologies from Northeastern University.
