Weber and McMahon of Newmark Knight Frank broker 11,500 s/f lease
Ryan Weber and Christopher McMahon, senior managing directors at Newmark Knight Frank, represented the landlord in two recent transactions at 85 Bolton St. The landlord, Bolton Street, LLC, recently converted the former Wyeth Research Center to Walden Square Science Center, attracting tenants by its ability to provide laboratory facilities for below-market rental rates.
"The building is a great solution for growing life science companies that need functional laboratory space in a timely manner at affordable rates," said Weber.
Tetragenetics Inc., an early state biotechnology company focusing on the production of genetically engineered proteins, has leased 9,000 s/f on the second floor of Walden Square Science Center. Cushman & Wakefield represented Tetragenetics Inc. in this transaction.
Ligon Discovery, Inc., a biotechnology company that discovers and develops innovative human medicines targeting therapeutic needs, has leased 2,500 s/f on the first floor of Walden Square Science Center. Newmark Knight Frank represented Ligon Discovery, Inc. as well as the landlord in this transaction.
