Webb of Commercial America Properties sells 120 room Days Inn Clermont

Groveland, FL Commercial America Properties sold the Days Inn Clermont. The 120 room full service hotel features restaurant, lounge, meeting/catering space and swimming pool. Situated at the confluence of U.S. Highway 27, Highway 19, and the Ronald Reagan Florida Tpke., the property was originally built in the 1970s and has experienced numerous renovations.

The buyers intend to renovate the entire property, creating a number of new extended stay style suites. When completed, the renovations will include updating the lobby and restaurant areas.

Robin Webb, former global president of the CCIM Institute, who brokered the property said “Groveland has experience better than a 100% growth in the last decade and it continues to attract major distribution facilities. This is the city’s largest lodging property and we are confident that the modernized hotel will be something the city and its citizens will be proud of.”

The seller was Marwa Investments, LLC and the buyer was ABGCHL.
