Wayne J. Griffin Electric completes Linwood Mill project for EA Fish

Wayne J. Griffin Electric, Inc. (Griffin Electric) has recently completed the electrical installation work at the Linwood Mill. Developed and owned by EA Fish Development LLC, Linwood Mill, a former cotton mill, was renovated to a 120,000 s/f, 75-unit apartment building for active adults aged 55+, and includes a lcommon area and library for its residents, plus laundry care centers on each of the facility's four floors. In addition, the building includes 22,000 s/f of commercial / retail space at the lower level. The Griffin Electric team was tasked with the installation of a new electrical service on-site, in addition to lighting, fire alarm and telecommunications systems. General contractor Westbrook Joint Venture led the project to completion, along with designer The Architectural Team. Griffin Electric provided design-build assistance. "With this project, preservation of the historical building was a top-priority for the developers," said Wayne Griffin, president. "With consideration of the building's integrity, our team was very mindful of their installations and overall site work." Linwood Mill - Northbridge, Mass.
