Walsh hired as senior vice president of Eastern Bank's wealth management division

Eastern Bank has hired William Walsh as senior vice president in charge of the bank's wealth management division. Walsh brings more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry to Eastern Bank. Prior to joining Eastern, Walsh was a director and planning officer at Weston Financial Group, a wealth management firm in Wellesley. From 2001 to 2009, Walsh served as a senior vice president at Bank of America/US Trust, where he managed a team of 14 private client advisors and private client managers serving high net worth clients. Walsh is a Certified Financial Planner and earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Salem State College. He earned a diploma in Financial Planning at Boston University, where he has worked as an adjunct professor since 1996.
