Vidal/Wettenstein closes $3.05 million sale of 31,298 s/f industrial building

Shelton, CT The former Electri- Cable Assemblies (ECA) building located at 10 Mountain View Dr. was sold. The purchaser was Shelton Winair which was located on River Rd. The building is 31,298 s/f and is situated on 5.16 acres. It sold for $3.05 million or $97.45 per s/f.

Dekko purchased ECA in 2016. Dekko, a wholly owned subsidiary of Graham Holdings Co. (GHC), is a leading manufacturer of innovative power charging and data systems, lighting and electrical solutions to the North American market. GHC relocated the Shelton company to Indiana.

According to David Black, former owner of the company, the ECA building was built in 1998 and was the first in the Ivy Brook development off Constitution Blvd. ECA’s founder, a long-time Shelton resident, wanted to bring his company back to the town and jumped at the opportunity when the land became available. The business was purchased in 2006, and the building in 2010.

The purchaser, Shelton Winair is a division of Win Supply, a national wholesaler and distributor of heating and air conditioning products.

Bruce Wettenstein, SIOR, partner with Vidal/Wettenstein was the listing broker and represented the purchaser. Counsel for the seller was Brian Enright of Halloran & Sage. Counsel for the purchaser was in-house counsel.
