Vantage Builders renovates 20,000 s/f in Watch Factory for Devoted Health

Waltham, MA Vantage Builders, Inc. completed the renovation of the new corporate headquarters for Devoted Health, at the Watch Factory, 221 Crescent St.

The 20,000 s/f office features an open floorplan, from architects Fusion Design, that better supports collaboration, communication and teamwork. Devoted Health, a new healthcare company serving seniors, moved to its new, second floor suite after leasing temporary space elsewhere in the Watch Factory.

Vantage Builders began the project with a complete internal demolition, down to the core and shell, to prepare for Devoted Health’s open environment. The location features no individual offices, as there is no assigned seating. Six huddle rooms and ten conference rooms, with all-glass fronts, facilitate impromptu or planned meetings. The conference rooms range in size to support gatherings from four to 25 attendees.

Utilizing the building’s brick and beam construction, the office features exposed ceilings and ductwork, which also adds to the open atmosphere. Vantage completed two kitchenettes where employees can have a break. New flooring and paint throughout feature Devoted Health’s branding. The systems work included new electrical and HVAC.

Vantage was hired by building ownership, Berkeley Investments Inc.

“Devoted Health is focused on making healthcare easier to understand and navigate, more affordable and more attentive to people’s needs,” said Jeremy Delinsky, CEO, Devoted Health. “Collaboration and the flexibility to meet quickly to resolve issues are critical for our dedicated team to deliver on our mission. Vantage Builders and Fusion Design have provided us an office environment that perfectly suits our needs and has room to support our growth.”

Investing in a falling rate environment - by Harrison Klein

Long-term interest rates have fallen by 100 basis points, and the market is normalizing. In December of 2022 I wrote an article about investing in a high interest rate, high inflation market. Since then, inflation has cooled off, and the Fed has begun lowering their funds rate.
