Within a mall,
Vantage Builders transformed an existing but abandoned second-floor food court into the new 32,000 s/f Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
The cost was $1.7 million.
To achieve stateliness there was an extensive millwork package installed inside as well as outside the space.
The project included kitchens, bathrooms, a locker room and individual client legal rooms. A complete HVAC system was required along with the construction of a new main and individual frame networking system. To complete the facility, work had to be performed off-hours within the area of a CVS pharmacy below.
This design/build project was completed with thanks from the client, Berkeley Investments, mall management and the Registrar of Worcester.
The architect was Gorman Richardson.
