Vantage Builders and Silverman Trykowski Assoc. to build ADA compliant 13,000 s/f Goldfish Swim School

Vantage Builders, Inc.has been hired by Goldfish Swim School-Needham to construct the Michigan-based company's first Massachusetts location at 45 Fourth Ave. Goldfish Swim School is a learn-to-swim franchise that offers indoor swim classes and programs for children 4 months and up. Following designs from architects Silverman Trykowski Associates, Inc., Vantage will transform an existing drab, 13,000 s/f warehouse into a bright, inviting new facility complete with Goldfish Swim School's tropical decor. The school will feature brand new pool measuring 30'x70', a comfortable glass viewing location and welcoming reception area. The build-out will require significant mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC work. The entire facility will be compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act. The project team also includes engineers VAV International, Inc. and South Shore Gunite Pools. The school is expected to open early May and additional Mass. locations are planned. Swimmers will have access to 12 private department store style changing huts, swimsuit dryers, five full bathrooms, a hairdrying station and showers. Goldfish will also offer birthday parties on the weekends at the new school. "We could not be more excited to bring Goldfish Swim School to the parents and children in the Needham area," said Sarah Kepic, owner, Goldfish Swim School. "Our approach to swimming instruction has helped thousands of children become confident, safe and strong swimmers and parents appreciate our small classes led by certified instructors."
