Valenti and Calabrese of R. Calabrese Agency broker $1.375 million sale to Courtyard by Marriott Hotel

Southington, CT Tony Valenti and Ralph Calabrese of the R. Calabrese Agency, LLC have sold 3 acres of vacant commercial property to AVA Development, LLC. This property is located on the West St. (Rte. 229) corridor, less than one-quarter mile from Exit 31 of I-84.  The new owner will commence construction on a Courtyard by Marriott Hotel, with groundbreaking scheduled for this spring.  

The property shares the local market with ESPN, Stanley Black & Decker, Amtrust, COCC, Webster Bank, Lake Compounce, Lincoln College, and retail tenants including; Lowe’s Home Improvement, Target, Michaels, Homegoods, Chips Restaurant and a variety of new general and medical office.  The soon to be constructed hotel will provide another quality lodging alternative to business and leisure guests who live and work in Southington and the surrounding communities. 

The seller was S&G, LLC and the R. Calabrese Agency, LLC was the sole broker involved.
