Tiemann of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT and Girvin of Chandler Company broker $6.4 million sale
Christina Tiemann of Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT (CBC) and Kenneth Girvin of Chandler Company LLC have brokered the sale of 274 Franklin St. (also known as 67 Batterymarch St.) for $6.4 million. Tiemann represented the building owner, National Development, and Girvin negotiated on behalf of the buyer, Henri Jacques LLC, a local real estate investor. The six-story, 21,397 s/f, mixed-use building, in the Financial District, traded for $300 per s/f in an off-market transaction.
"I am very pleased to have represented National Development in this sales transaction and hope to continue to work with them on future deals", said Tiemann.
"274 Franklin St. is a pristine, boutique-style property, ideally-situated halfway between Post Office Sq. Park and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. Both parties really wanted this sale to occur and we were able to achieve a very respectable number," said Girvin.
This is the second time that Tiemann and Girvin have collaborated on the sale of Financial District buildings, having previously sold 5-9 Broad St. in 2010.
