Staff of Cresa Boston, the area's largest commercial real estate advisory firm specializing in tenant representation, recently volunteered on two occasions to renovate a home for Habitat for Humanity.
Cresa provided painting, flooring, siding, and other manual services on the home at 51 Navarre St. as part of the rehab work needed before the selected families move in. The two-family home, which was bought out of foreclosure 18 months ago, will be ready for occupation in early to mid 2013.
Habitat Greater Boston is a Massachusetts charitable nonprofit organization that builds or rehabilitates simple, decent houses by forming partnerships with low-income families in need of decent and affordable housing. Cresa began volunteering for the Habitat last year and plans to continue supporting the organization to help strengthen the local Boston community.
